Module 1
The future of logistics
This industry is expected to grow at an unprecedented level. We'll briefly discuss this, along with the opportunities available to those who are ready to jump in and build a lucrative business in the world of freight dispatching.
Module 2
What freight dispatchers do
A truck dispatcher is often confused with a freight broker, but the two positions have different and distinct roles. We cover this in detail so you'll clearly understand what your roles and responsibilities are.
Module 3
Tools of the trade
In order to build a legitimate and respectable freight dispatching company, you must have the right tools and resources to effectively dispatch. Cutting corners can cost you ongoing and lucrative contracts. We cover it all.
Module 4
Time management
Following a routine will help you get the most out of your day. For example, there's a particular time of day you shouldn't reach out to brokers to book loads. We talk about this as well as other strategies to minimize costly layovers and delays for your drivers.
Module 5
Equipment for hauling loads
There are three basic types of trailers with differing variations in which to haul all loads. It's important you have a basic understanding of each and their purpose so you can fulfill your job as a freight dispatcher. We go in-depth and break it all down in this training.
Module 6
Prospecting for new clients
Landing new clients is the lifeline of your business. We cover a variety of techniques and tricks you can use to land more business. Prospecting is something you should be doing on a regular basis to keep your pipeline full; we'll show you best practices.

Carrier set-up package 101
It is your responsibility to make sure the carrier is legit before issuing any loads, check the FMCSA website for the carrier score, and make sure everything is valid. In this section, we cover what must be included in your 'carrier setup' package to ensure compliance and minimize risk to you!
Module 8
Broker set-up package 101
The process of booking a load includes completing a set of legal documents and contracts. When you deal with a brokerage firm for the first time you have to complete a Vendor Set-up Package as well as proper business docs from broker. We cover these details in our training.
Module 9
Negotiating rates w/ brokers
Money, money, money ... In this section, we'll cover best practices for negotiating rates/fees.
